Anew restaurant blending a trifecta of North African and Middle Eastern cuisines has opened its doors In Dubai’s bustling JBR.
Meaning noble in Turkish, Asil is like entering an Aladdin’s cave of fabulous fabrics and extravagant chandeliers inspired by the ambience and hospitality of the Arab world.
Restaurant and nightclub specialists Prospect Design International created the Turkish-Levant eatery in the space at Rixos Premium Dubai that was formerly nightclub Inner City Zoo, then more recently gastropub District.
In winter its terrace will be the ideal spot to enjoy a menu that draws on cuisine from Morocco, Turkey, and Lebanon to make a creative and contemporary mash-up, ITP title Caterer Middle East has reported.
Prospect Design, which has offices in Cannes and Dubai, has also worked its magic on the interiors of Dubai’s most luxurious evening hangouts, some of which are now sadly loved and lost.
These include Sass Cafe in DIFC; Casa de Tapas, overlooking Dubai Creek; Base night club and People by Crystal, which once sat atop Raffles Hotel.
